On Saturday, October 3, the Willow Springs Fall Festival returned as Oz Fest.  That morning was very chilly, but the afternoon weather warmed up considerably.  Many high school clubs had booths to raise money, such as FCCLA and Spanish Society.  FCCLA’s advisor Mrs. Steelman  said, “We had a great time painting many faces.”  The club painted around 60 young faces!  Mrs. Griffith stated, “We had some extremely excited volunteers for the dunking booth like Coach Pitts, Mrs. Read, and Mr. Cochran; they did an outstanding job!”  Oz Fest was a huge success and planning has already begun for next year.
