 You know that look when you feel like someone is gazing at you as you walk by? Don’t you ever wonder what is catching their eye? Wonder no more, because those secrets are about to be told. With a survey given throughout the Willow Springs High School, the results are in!

 So girls, when a guy gives you that charming smile, more than likely you’ve met these three “guy requirements:”

Your sparkling smile lit up his eyes

Most guys tend to be attracted to girls that have a real, genuine smile. This shows that you know how to laugh and have fun.

Your height is up to par

In this world there are tall girls and short girls, but apparently he is feeling just fine about how tall you are. So smile and stay positive about your height… he loves it!

 The shine of your beautiful locks

When a girl walks by with shiny, bouncy hair, that usually sends a message to the guy that you are proud of your body and you have very good hygiene-which is a plus!

Now for the males, it’s your turn to find out why those captivating girls are flashing their pearly whites at you:

Handsomely groomed

Girls usually like guys that have nice and styled hair, because that leads them to believe that you actually put forth the effort to look nice. Getting out of bed in the morning and rushing out the door with your hair going in five different directions isn’t exactly the idea of Prince Charming that girls like.

 A look through your eyes

Whether it is the color of your eyes or the shape, the girls are definitely looking. There’s just something fascinating about the way they sparkle and sometimes change with what you wear.

Your hip-to-waist ratio

Different girls are attracted to different body types. With that being said, make sure you stay in shape, take care of your body, and just flaunt your personality. If you’re confident, girls will know. If you’re shy, it’s so obvious. Be proud of who you are, and stand strong with your looks.

 Well there you have it! Girls, you need to keep batting those eyelashes, and boys you need to keep your hair shining. “Their smile brings out who they are,” replied senior Dillen Lovan when asked why the smile is the number one most distinguishing thing about a guy. For the girls, Ben Phelps replied about their hair and why it’s the most eye-catching thing. “If it’s nice, they try to make themselves look good, but if it’s messy then they don’t care about their looks enough.” So now that you know the basics on why you’re getting a second glance.  Don’t be afraid to strut up to them and say hello. You never know what might happen!
