Compared to the sacrifice that each soldier makes when they step foot on war territory, there is nothing we can give them that is as meaningful as what they’re doing for us. That doesn’t stop the giving people in America from trying to make their soldiers feel at home.Operation Christmas Tree is an organization that sends 4ft Christmas trees to soldiers in Iraq. It’s a donation process that anyone can participate in.

The trees are $25 each and include the lights, decorations, candy, and shipping. When you send a tree, you can choose to have it sent to someone in particular or you can have it just randomly given out. Our local Pep Club will be sending two this year.
