On November 6, 2009, Willow Springs held a PTO elementary carnival. Different school organizations came together and created a lot of fun for our local elementary school kids. This year, Spanish club had six stands: football toss, beanbag toss, hair spraying, Mexican hot chocolate, and confetti filled eggs that were smashed on heads. The money received during these events went to the Spanish trip to  Silver Dollar City. The Spanish club made a successful $297.00 this year and donated a fourth of it to PTO proceedings.  ”A good time was had by all because Spanish society loves to play, ” replied Spanish teacher Mrs. Griffith.
