What are You Thankful For?
Thanksgiving is a day in which we celebrate with family and friends. It is a time to tell the ones you love most why you are thankful for them or just what you’re thankful for.
” I’m thankful for living in a christian environment and for the family that I have,” said freshman Emily Wehmer.
The celebration is to give thanks for all the many things we have in our lives, whether it be good health, the love of your family, or the abilities you are able to do.
” A place to call home,” replied sophomore teacher, Mrs. Jones. “It could be something totally small but its value means everything to you. “
“I’m thankful for my beautiful white shoes,” replied sophomore Natasha Burtchett.
” My teammates,” replied junior Taylor James.
While we pause for our daily routines, to celebrate with the ones we love, take a moment to rejoice in this world we live in and to reflect on those who are of less fortunate then ourselves.
” I am thankful for all the people that have helped me get as far as I am,” replied senior Kelsie Hutsell.
I challenge each and every one of you to contribute to your local charities, even if it’s just donating your time. Please, take a look at your life to see what you’re blessed to have and be to thankful for.
