Christos House Inc. is a non-profit shelter for victims of domestic violence. It is located in Southwest Missouri and serves eight counties. It was founded in July of 1982 by a group of concerned citizens who recognized the need to provide services for victims of domestic violence. The shelter is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It is now a 36-bed facility with a living room, kitchen and child’s playroom/classroom. The staff is compassionate and caring with many services being offered to both in-shelter residents and outreach clients. These services are provided at no cost to the clients.

WSHS Lady Letterman Club thought that this would be a great opportunity to contribute to another women’s organization during the holiday season. The club has 31 members that has participated and lettered in cheerleading, volleyball, tennis, cross-country, basketball, and track & field.

The mission or purpose of the Willow Springs Lady Letterman Club was established in the 1980’s. The purpose of the club is to establish pride in being a high school female letterman and a representative of the Willow Springs High School. Our goal as an organization is to continue pride and tradition in a strong girls’ athletic program. We also stride in helping young women develop leadership abilities within our team members and as future leaders of our community, state, and nation.
