As the cold weather approaches so does the basketball season. This year the Bears hope for a high flying season.

“We have a lot of returning players on the varsity that have great attitudes and I’m exited to be with them,” said Coach Mallow.

The coaches for the Bears are Mike Mallow coaching varsity, Robert James coaching junior varsity, and Ryan Bunch coaching the freshman team. The line up for the Bears is:

Varsity- Steven Mallow-Guard, Jared Hummel-Guard, Michael Grindstaff-    Forward, Allen Braiser-Forward, Clint Harper-Forward, Taylor James-Guard, Blayne Collins-Guard, Zach Cunningham-Forward, and Travis Wake-Guard.

Junior Varsity-Joe Chilton-Center, Chris Miller-Guard,Tyler Fredrick-Center, Jordan Capeder-Guard, Phillip Collins-Forward,Levi Thornten-Forward, Dylan Gale-Forward, Haden Smith-Forward, Blayne Collins-Guard, Travis Wake-Guard, and Kyle Wake-Guard.

All these players will have a big contribution to the team. The coaches and the players look forward to a great season so come on out and support the Bears as they play their first games at the Strafford tournament.

“If we work hard and don’t have many injures, we will be a tough team to beat,” stated junior Clint Harper.
