Central Ozarks Legal Secretaries Association Reynolds/Spurgin Memorial Scholarship – Applicants must have a 3.0 or higher GPA or be in the top 25% of their class.  Applicants must be considering a career in the legal field.  Students must also provide two letters of recommendation and a one-page, unsigned biographical statement.  Deadline:  March 5, 2010

Cottey College will host a week-long residential camp for high school girls interested in dance, music (vocal and instrumental), science, or leadership.  Students in grades 9 – 12 may participate.  More information is available at www.cottey.edu.  There is a $10.00 non-refundable application fee.  Cost of the programs is $400 each.  Deadline:  April 15, 2010

Missouri Insurance Education Foundation Scholarship – Applicant must be a graduating high school senior from Missouri, must enroll in an accredited Missouri college or university to study insurance, risk management, or actuarial science, and must demonstrate scholarship in the complete sense consistent with capacity and circumstances.  (4 – $1,500)  Deadline:  March 31, 2010

Normans Jewelry & Bridal Shoppe will be giving away a $500 scholarship on April 30, 2010.  Applicants must be registered at Normans to be entered in the drawing. Nathan R. Murphy Memorial Law Enforcement Scholarship – Sponsored by the Physical Therapy Specialists Clinic, this scholarship must be typed or it will not be considered. Applicants must have a 2.5 GPA and must be a resident of Douglas, Howell, Oregon, Shannon, Texas or Wright County.  Applications will be judged on the essay, financial need, community involvement, academics, and a personal interview. $1,000 Deadline:  August 27, 2010

National Framers Farm Kids for College Scholarship – Applicants must be a high school senior and plan to major in an agricultural field at an accredited college or university.  Deadline:  March 15, 2010

Physical Therapy Specialists Clinic Memorial Scholarships – Nine scholarships are available this year. They are $1,000 each.  Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and an ACT of 23 or better.  Scholarship applicants will be judged on the following criteria:  65% personal and leadership qualities and 35% academic accomplishment.
