You find yourself in a dark movie theater, having a terrible time with your new boyfriend/girlfriend. You don’t know what to do. Of course, since you’re dating, you rode together and therefore cannot “get sick” and have to leave early. I talked to some high school students to see how they would break it up…

Sophomore, Joe Chilton said, “Welcome to Dumpsville, population you.”

Mrs. Steelman said, “We can still be friends.”

Senior Krista Gale said, “I really care about you, but I think we are better as just friends.”

Senior Lindsay Stolba said, “I deserve better.”

Junior Cole Johnson said, “It’s over baby.”

Senior Steven Mallow said, “I would give her a hug, fake cry, and tell her that it wasn’t her, it was me.”

Junior Taylor James said, “I would talk to her face to face and say ‘it’s over’.”

You see a girl/guy everyday at school and you really want to impress him/her. So what is that one line you can use to get them to fall for you? I talked to some high school students to see what lines they use.

Sophomore Jimmy Cox said, “Are you from Tennessee, because you’re the only 10 I see.”

Sophomore Dustin Bonar said, “Did it hurt when you fell from heaven? You’re so pretty you must be an angel.”

Senior Lindsay Stolba said, “Do you just want to be friends, or do you want more?”

Mr. Knapp said, “I would use total blunt honesty. I would say, ‘I’, gonna be honest with you; I think your hot. I know that I don’t have a chance with you, but I would feel stupid to not tell you.”

When you’re in high school, dating and hating are really important. Maybe these lines can help you in your relationships.
