After the annual FCCLA officer induction meeting, held this year at the Willow Springs First Baptist Church, there comes a special ceremony where participants in Star Events receive their rewards. Willow Springs received many awards this year, with several groups winning awards. Tamara Cauldwell, Ashli Riden, and Allison Chaney received gold in the category of “Environmental Ambassadors;” Ciara Sisco and Jane Sherbo received gold in the category of “Chapter Service;” Stephanie Williams, Cole Johnson, and Taylor James also received gold in the category of “Focus on Children;” and Raven, Netanya Thomas, and Rhea Wheat received gold in the category of “National Programs and Action.”.The Willow Springs FCCLA did very well this year and expects to do well in years to follow.
