With the stress of senior projects on the rise, another project has been added to the already endless senior ‘to do’ list. The introduction of the Valedictory project increased stress and caused panic to set in as seniors began to feel as if everything was piling up.

Valedictories are simply writings all about you and your life thus far. So although this project shouldn’t be too hard to complete, it is extremely time consuming. Not only do seniors have to complete the writings, they are also responsible for scrapbooking and making the valedictory pleasing to the eye.

“I despise doing them now, but I look forward to finding them twenty years from now and looking at them with my husband and kids,” admits Senior Eryn Alcorn. So although you may feel stressed now with all the work piling up, years from now when you pull out the old valedictories, you will be glad to have all the memories written down. Memories can fade throughout the years, yet this project allows you to cherish each and every memory for a lifetime and even longer.
