Wilow Springs 7th graders recently had a great learning experience  on a field trip to the Twin Pine Education Center in Winona.  The 7th graders won a food donating contest in the Middle School and was rewarded with this trip.  At the Education Center, students interacted with live balds and listened to a presentation on these great birds. 

In total, there were 1,369 food items raised and donated during the food drive.  Over 700 of the items raised were brought in by 7^th graders alone.   What a life-touching experience by reaching out to needy families among us.  Way to go 7^th grade!
