Cottey College – “C” for Yourself! Discover Drury Day – October 16, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. – 3 p.m. There will be a student life presentation, a student affairs staff and Drury student panel, an academic and student life fair, a mock class, admission, scholarship and financial aid sessions, and a campus tour.  Register at www.drury.edu/discoverdrury.

Missouri Cattlemen Foundation Scholarship – Applicants must be a Missouri resident and recommended by a member of the Missouri Cattlemen’s Association.  Applicant must: submit three letters of recommendation; not have previously received a full Missouri’s Cattlemen Foundation scholarship; be a high school senior and have a GPA of 2.5 or better on a 4.0 scale; demonstrate leadership potential through extracurricular activities and work experiences; and demonstrate financial need.  Preference is given to applicants planning to attend a Missouri college or university with their area of study in the field of agriculture and food production.  Special preference may be given for areas of study related to beef production.  Apply at http://www.mocattlemenfoundation.org/scholarships/htmDeadline:  October 1, 2010

Missouri  S and T Chancellor’s Scholarship – Applicants must:   be in the upper 10% of their class or have a GPA of 3.75; must take the ACT test by October 24th and receive a score of 30 or better;  must have strong leadership skills through school and community activities; be a resident of the state of Missouri; and complete a campus interview.  $12,000 renewable  Deadline:  November 1, 2009
