Nurse Kyle Is Leaving Willow Springs Schools
Nurse Anne Kyle announced to fellow staff today through the heartfelt letter below that she will soon be leaving her long held position here at Willow Springs Schools. Her words show the dedication she feels to the students and staff here. The Educator staff wishes her nothing but blessings in her future pursuits.
In the fall of 1999 I began working 2 days a week with the school nurse, Jenny Pigg. Jenny set me to work that first year on the application for the State of Missouri School Health Services Contract, and in less than two years we grew the school health program to four (three nurses and a social service coordinator).
As I prepare for this move, I leave our school in capable and caring hands. Janet Newman, Patty Siler and Missy Fugate are a most amazing team. Each of them brings unique gifts and skills to School Health. They are hardworking and dedicated folks.
The relationships that have developed over the years are what make this news so hard to share. It’s difficult to imagine being away from these students and away from you. It has been a blessing, and my great honor, to be a part of Willow Springs School.
I will be working in the Show-Me Response system which is Missouri’s ESAR-VHP (the emergency system for the advance registration of volunteer health professionals). This is a federal program which gathers and maintains a database of health care professionals who are willing to be called in case of an emergency to assist with the health care needs of the affected community. I will be moving to an apartment in Jeff City- Mike and I will be a two-city couple again as we were during our courtship. He will continue his ministry with All Saints’ Church in West Plains.
I will be spending the next month both preparing to leave and continuing my work with students. Please do not hesitate to call on me.
Fondly,
Anne
