The Willow Springs FFA recently hosted the 18th Annual Willow Springs Aggie Days for the Area 13 FFA Association. Over 80 kids from surrounding schools attended the event to participate in cattle working and agriculture olympics. In the cattle working, teams of three are judged on chute safety, livestock handling, and administering shots to cattle. Students are timed on how fast they are able to work three head of calves and the manner in which they handle themselves and the cattle. Awards are given to the top three schools. Results for the cattle working were first place Dora, second place Cabool, and third place Willow Springs. The Willow Springs team members were DJ Johnson, Allen Shanks, and Levi Widner.

In the Agriculture Olympics contest, teams of three are judged on how quickly they can complete certain tasks found in an agriculute setting (i.e. fence building, fence post driving, tractor backing, landscaping, corral building, and beef breed identification). First place went to Dora, second place to Dora, and third place to Willow Springs. This Willow Springs team consisted of Russel Killion, Audra Hummel, and Travis Engh.
