Congratulations to the WSMS Lady Bear basketball teams for their hard work in the Mountain Grove Subway Tournament last week!
The 7th grade girls beat Cabool in the first round 26-14. They escaped with a 18-17 win against Thayer in the 2nd round game. In the final game, the 7th grade team beat the Houston Lady Tigers 17-9 in the championship game on Friday night.
The 8th grade girls took 3rd place in the Mountain Grove Tournament with a big 32-18 win over the Mountain View Eagles. They won their first round game against Cabool 35-23 but lost their 2nd round game against Thayer 20-48.
The next games will be on Monday night at Houston.
