After five years of success, M.U.N.C.H has again started collecting items to help children, from ages newborn to fifteen, in Willow Springs who would not normally have a Christmas. The Student Council is offering spirit points for each item brought from each grade. Throughout the month of October, many books were collected to help give to these children. Through Thanksgiving, they are accepting warm items and wrapping paper for spirit points, and from Thanksgiving to Dec. 15, any toys or wrapping paper brought in will be counted toward spirit points.

Donation boxes have also been set up at various stores in town such as Dollar General and Alco. The Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) club is helping raise money by holding a coin drive.

After Thanksgiving, Mrs. Brower will have a sign-up sheet in her classroom where students can volunteer to go toy shopping, help set up on Dec. 17 at M.U.N.C.H, and help with the toy giveaway on Dec. 18 at M.U.N.C.H.
