The 2010-2011 boys basketball season is starting up. The Willow Springs Bears had their first practice Monday, November 11th.

Head Coach Mike Mallow recently answered a few questions about the upcoming season. Coach Mallow said, “Our main goal is to help these guys become better people.” He also said they were focusing mainly on trying to get into playing shape for the season and increasing defensive play with a focus on half court defense.

Coach Mallow mentioned they have “a large group of seniors this year, and having a big group of senior boys is awesome and should be a lot of fun! “

“I am every position except point guard, and practice is going well. I’m getting used to the running again, and I’m excited for the season,” said Zach Cunningham.

The Bears first game will be at the Strafford Tournament Tuesday, November 30.
