Firefighters Visit Willow Springs Elementary

Willow Springs Elementary sends a big thank you to Assistant Fire Chief Matt Foster and the Willow Springs Volunteer Firefighters for their willingness to share with students about fire safety during Fire Prevention Week.

Firefighters visited the school and talked to students in preschool through fourth grade about fire safety and equipment and tools used to fight fires.

The students were provided coloring books, badges and fireman hats. Willow Springs Elementary appreciates all of the Willow Springs Firefighters for helping to keep us safe and for sharing with us about fire safety!

Never too young to learn about fire safety, what a great job the Willow Springs Fire Dept does. I know someday these little ones will want to be a fireman. I know my son Matt always did and look where he is now living one of his dreams.
