It’s A Wonderful Life is now showing at the Star Theatre. The story centers around George Bailey, the Everyman from the small town of Bedford Falls, whose dreams of escape and adventure have been quashed by family obligation and civic duty. His guardian angel has to descend on Christmas Eve to save him from despair by showing him what the world would have been like had he never been born.

Cast members in the play include Willow Springs’ own John Bailey as George Bailey and Kurt Owens as Mr. Potter. Dates and times for this week are 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 9 and Friday, December 10, then at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 12.
