The Lady Bears built an early 8-2 lead in the first quarter against the Tigers in the game last night. Houston made  a run of its own, ending the first quarter behind 12-9. During the second quarter, the Lady Bears outscored the Tigers 25-7 and never looked back with the final score of 52-37. “Our girls brought a lot of energy on defense which led to a lot of transition points and allowed us to control the tempo of the game,” said Coach DJ Gutscher.
