On Thursday, December 16 the Middle School Lady Bears played the West Plains Lady Zizzers. Coach Jackson said, “Neither game was pretty, but I’m happy that we managed to get a win. It was one of those games that looked like both teams slept all day or lay aound all day. It was ugly.”

The seventh grade Lady Bears lost 16-18. Bethany Sherbo led with 10 points. Kendra Aldridge, Dayla Davis and Rebecca Picard each scored a bucket.

The eighth grade beat the Lady Zizzers 21-19. Blakelynn Watts led scoring with 12 points and 8 rebounds. Kyla Hutsell had 6 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists. Molly Martin had 2 points, 5 rebounds and 4 steals. Kelsey Hutsell scored 1 point, had 5 steals and 3 rebounds.

Their next game will be in the 7/8 Quad City Tournament:

Monday, January 3 at Howell Valley against Thayer 4:00 and 5:15 pm

Tuesday, January 4 at West Plains against West Plains 6:30 and 7:45pm

Saturday, January 8 at Thayer against Howell Valley 10:00 and 11:15 am
