On February 11, Ava came to Munford Gymnasium to take away the Willow Bears’ chance  at the SCA Title. Willow would not allow it and defeated the Ava Bears 75 -65.

Before halftime, the Willow Bears trailed by 6 points but battled to have the advantange at the end of the first half, 33-31. Willow Springs dominated the fourth quarter with 26 points.  ”Cole Johnson played great tonight scoring key baskets and handling the ball well down the stretch,” said Coach Mike Mallow, ”Our ability to get stops and hit free throws down the stretch were keys to this victory.”

The Willow Bears added another W to their record by defeating the Ava Bears 75-65.  ”It was a great win for our program,” said Mallow. Willow is now 17-4,  with 4-0 in the SCA.
