Mrs. Dunlap’s third grade class adopted two African dwarf frogs on February 23.The names of the frogs are Spot and Spike. The class feeds the frogs little pellets twice a week. They plan to research this type of frog and find out what frogs do in the wild. This class has already found out that if the frogs are in a small tank, they will stay small, but if the frogs are put in a larger tank, they will grow bigger.

The class is excited to have new class pets. Skyler said, “They are quite cute frogs.” Trevor, the student who brought the frogs to school, said, “Small frogs are cooler than big frogs.”

Trevor brought Spot and Spike to Mrs. Dunlap’s class.

Mrs. Dunlap, who is also very pleased to have the frogs said, “We are excited to learn about our new class pets.”
