Kindergarten Celebrates 100th Day
by Emily Wehmer
Last week the kindergarteners celebrated the 100th day of school with many fun activities.
“We counted by 1′s, 5′s, 10′s to 100; we counted out food items to make a 100 Day Gorp; we counted out beads and strung on a plastic lace to make a 100 bead necklace; wrote numbers to 100, got to meet Zero the Hero, paraded through the high school, and read books about the 100th day. We had a blast!!” explained Mrs. Crewse.
“The kindergarten teachers would like to thank all who came out to support our 100th Day Parade! It definitely made our day more enjoyable. We greatly appreciate your support! A special thanks goes out to the high school office for the students’ “special treat.” An EXTRA special thanks goes out to Zero the Hero for taking time out of “his” day to help us celebrate!!” said Mrs. Cunningham.
