5.) What made you decide you wanted to be a teacher, how long have you been teaching and what subjects?

“I wanted to be a teacher or a preacher. Teaching fits my personality. I have been told I am bossy and teaching seems to fit that. Seriously, I LOVE seeing people learn. Also, I think all students can do something neat with their lives.”

6.) Do you have any kids? If so, how many do you have? Names? Ages?

“Two kids,  Andy is 14 years old. Kasey is 12 years old.”

7.) What was your first car?

“To author a book and become a Christian women’s speaker.”

10.) What is something you think is unique about yourself?

“I grew up in poverty. Nine of us lived in a two bedroom house. I wore clothes that were too big and shoes with holes in them. My grandmother saw me about six years ago and said, ‘I am glad you made something of yourself because none of us thought you would amount to much.’ So, I guess you could say I am an overcomer and a dreamer.

I love to hang wallpaper and paint as well.”

11.) What’s one quote by which you live?

“There’s no next time,  it’s now or never.”
