Last week the volleyball team took on the Salem Tigers and came out with a win.  The Lady Bears won in two sets, giving them a victory. The score of the first set was 25 to 22, and the second set was 25-13.

The team played a great game and earned every point they scored. Senior Ashley Hardisty played a good game, scoring 2 points, making 2 kills, and engaging 2 blocks. Another senior, Faith Younger scored 16 points and had one kill. Junior, Jane Sherbo scored 4 points for the team, and sophomore, Alexis Brooks earned 6 kills.

Coach Yocom was very proud of the way the girls played and would like to see them play more like this for the rest of the season. There was tremendous teamwork and good sportsmanship.
