Recently, Willow Springs Middle School had to say goodbye to Christy Graves and hello to Natalie Rodgers as secretary. Three eighth graders interviewed them and wrote the following stories about this change:

Christy Graves has been working at the Willow Springs Middle School since 2004. Her last day was Wednesday August 31, 2011.  She will be opening up her own flower shop here in Willow. We are excited for her as she pursues her goals, but we will really miss her!

Christy’s favorite thing about Willow Springs School is her co-workers. What she likes about the school is that it’s a small school and all the employees want the school to be a great school. She likes supporting the Willow Springs sports teams and spending time with her family.

Christy Graves' goodbye party

A few things Christy gained from working at Willow Springs School has been being involved with the community and growing with the people around her. Through all the work she has done for us, she has really enjoyed her time working at the school. The only thing she won’t miss is the phone ringing non-stop.

We welcome Natalie Rodgers to the Middle School staff.

Natalie Rodgers is our new secretary. We are really excited to have her here and look forward to getting to know her better. She has three boys, Drew, Landon and Jace. This job is going to work out really well for her since she will be close to her boys. Some of you know her husband, Chris Rodgers, who is the Elementary School Principal. She enjoys traveling and playing ball. She likes all kinds of sports but her favorite is baseball.
