On October 20, 2011, 14 Willow Springs FFA students attended the 84th National FFA Convention held in Indianapolis, Indiana. On the trip, students were able to attend leadership sessions, a National FFA Career Show, Fair Oaks Dairy Farm, the largest dairy farm in the United States, Purina Mills Nutritional Center,  and a concert featuring “Little Big Town” and Blake Shelton.

Individuals from the Willow Springs FFA chapter are selected to attend based upon FFA Fruit Sales, 1st two Greenhands to say the FFA Creed, application, leadership points, and overall involvement in the Willow Springs FFA.

2011 FFA National Convention Attendees

The National FFA Convention is held each year and attended by all 50 states including the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and Guam.
