Three Willow Graduates Earn American FFA Degrees
by JJ Cox
This year at the 84th National FFA Convention held in Indianapolis, Indiana, three Willow Springs graduates received their American FFA Degrees. Those individuals were Briann Daniels, Kelsie Hutsell, and Weston Lemon. All three were four year members of the Willow Springs FFA Chapter. The American FFA Degree is recognized by a Golden Key and is the highest degree one can earn through the National FFA Organization. The American FFA Degree is earned by members based upon their Supervised Agriculture Experience Program based in ownership or placement. Members must have earned their Greenhand, Chapter, and State FFA Degrees and served as a Chapter FFA Officer, or chairman of a committee based around the Program of Activities. Students received their American FFA Degrees at the Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday, October 22, 2011.
