“Waynesville was an inconsistent tournament for us,” explained Coach Spence about the Waynesville tennis tournament Willow Springs competed in on Saturday, October 1.  “We had some opportunities that we couldn’t take advantage of, but also had some girls really step up.

Bethany Carter had the top seed in the singles bracket, but lost a frustrating match in the second round.  Annina Fremgen had a nice run into the semifinals.  The doubles team of Tamara and Katie played extremely well, and their only loss on their way to the consolation championship was to a very strong Camdenton team.”
