We all know and have heard the meaning of EasterAccording to the Christianity faith, Christ rose from the dead, and this is the Sunday we celebrate his resurrection. Many families will be hunting Easter eggs and children are anxious for the things the Easter bunny brings. So we all know the meaning of Easter, but where does the Easter bunny fit into the picture?

The symbol of the Easter bunny originated with the pagan festivals of Eastre. The goddess, Eastre, was worshiped through her earthly symbol, which happened to be a rabbit. Being as the hare and the rabbit are the most fertile animals known, they served as the symbol for the beginning of new life during the spring season.

The eggs that the Easter bunny delivers are a symbol of rebirth. The color and wrapping around the egg told of your status in society, whether you were a peasant or wealthy.

Now that the true meaning behind these holiday symbols has been revealed, you are probably wondering what the big deals was all about? The Easter bunny is simply a sign of fertility? It’s nothing special, just the beginning of a new life.

The question still remains whether the WII Fitness program is worth the hefty asking price. Sure, you’re getting the nifty new WII Balance Board for your money, but can it really get the nation in shape or are we simply paying for a glorified set of scales?

According to many users, it’s far more convenient than going to a gym to work out. Here’s why: If you feel self conscious at a gym, not to mention the actual act of going to a gym is a pain, then WII Fitness program is just the thing for you. Many users have reported their progress results within days of using it and say that having the WII Fitness at your home is far better than going to a gym.

For the people who are new to this, a WII pack comes with one Nintendo game console, one controller, one controller charger, and a WIIPlay game. The average cost for a Nintendo WII game system varies around $200 to $400, depending on what you want in it. Individually, the WII board costs around $100. You can also buy many different varieties of games, controllers and accessories to liven up your fun!!

Here are five great reasons why the WII Fitness is convenient at your home: One, it’s cheaper than a gym membership. If you live even a short distance from the closest gym, let alone a lengthy drive, traveling back and forth to the gym and then back home adds up, especially today with the gas prices, if you exercise on a daily basis.

Secondly, there are several different kinds of motivation. While you are doing your body test, the WII Fit is recording your progress which will show up on a chart, along with all the other stats from previous times. The advantage of having a WII board character is that it’s always thinking in a positive way, even if you aren’t doing well or you slip up. Also, for the time spent working out, you get credits. The more credits you get, the more work out activities you unlock which is to your great advantage. There are many different work-out games such as yoga poses, additional balance games, etc.

Third, there is a large variety of exercises and as mentioned before, the more you do, the more you get. There are four sections: yoga, strength, aerobics and balance. You start out with 4 different exercises available in each section, and as you work out and earn credits, more activities are unlocked. So there are plenty of varieties to choose from and new ones are always opening.

Fourth, it is FUN! For example all the balance exercises are games, but they DO work your muscles. With the run, the scenery is nice, you can do it in any weather condition, any time of the day, and you can even work out in your jammies. Many of the WII’s games are simple and easy to grasp, but ridiculously fun – even for hardcore gamers. “I love the WIIFit. If you use it properly, you can feel your muscles working. I also love that it is convenient in the privacy of my own home,” replied Junior Jessica Brooks.

Fifth, it works you harder than you think. The yoga and strength training exercises work with balance too. You have to not only do the exercise but hold yourself steady…this works your muscles even harder. Your balance is tracked right on the screen…this helps you to make sure you are working both sides equally and it helps improve your posture. “It’s really neat and fun. Playing the WIIFit makes you feel like you’re in a class working with a trainer, and it keeps track of your weight,” quoted Nurse Kyle.

Many users all over the world today are continually encouraging people to give the WII Fit a try, but they also are advising them to not forget to wear their shoes.

The second you walk by, someone is ticking off a checklist to determine if they’ll ask you out. Shocker? A nice rear is nowhere on that list.

You know that look when you feel like someone is gazing at you as you walk by? Don’t you ever wonder what is catching their eye? Wonder no more, because those secrets are about to be told. With a survey given throughout the Willow Springs High School, the results are in!

So girls, when a guy gives you that charming smile, more than likely you’ve met these three “guy requirements:”

Your sparkling smile lit up his eyes

Most guys tend to be attracted to girls that have a real, genuine smile. This shows that you know how to laugh and have fun.

Your height is up to par

In this world there are tall girls and short girls, but apparently he is feeling just fine about how tall you are. So smile and stay positive about your height… he loves it!

The shine of your beautiful locks

When a girl walks by with shiny, bouncy hair, that usually sends a message to the guy that you are proud of your body and you have very good hygiene-which is a plus!

Now for the males, it’s your turn to find out why those captivating girls are flashing their pearly whites at you:

Handsomely groomed

Girls usually like guys that have nice and styled hair, because that leads them to believe that you actually put forth the effort to look nice. Getting out of bed in the morning and rushing out the door with your hair going in five different directions isn’t exactly the idea of Prince Charming that girls like.

A look through your eyes

Whether it is the color of your eyes or the shape, the girls are definitely looking. There’s just something fascinating about the way they sparkle and sometimes change with what you wear.

Your hip-to-waist ratio

Different girls are attracted to different body types. With that being said, make sure you stay in shape, take care of your body, and just flaunt your personality. If you’re confident, girls will know. If you’re shy, it’s so obvious. Be proud of who you are, and stand strong with your looks.

Well there you have it! Girls, you need to keep batting those eyelashes, and boys you need to keep your hair shining. “Their smile brings out who they are,” replied senior Dillen Lovan when asked why the smile is the number one most distinguishing thing about a guy. For the girls, Ben Phelps replied about their hair and why it’s the most eye-catching thing. “If it’s nice, they try to make themselves look good, but if it’s messy then they don’t care about their looks enough.” So now that you know the basics on why you’re getting a second glance. Don’t be afraid to strut up to them and say hello. You never know what might happen!
