Buck Winner Jesse James Ryan Donates Winnings

Jesse James Ryan hands Mrs. Brower his $50 winnings to help Bears for a Better Christmas.

Each year students who take a buck during deer season can enter their picture with their deer, signed by a parent, into a drawing for $50. Each entry is displayed on Mrs. James window during the weeks of deer season. This year’s winner was sophomore Jesse James Ryan. Jesse did something that showed that he not only hunts well, but he also has a giving heart! Jesse donated his $50 winnings to Bears for a Better Christmas. This organization provides for local families in need during the holiday season. Everyone who has any extra to give should follow his example and help others. That would be a gift worth giving.
